Communicating Effectively for Results!

I believe that Effective Communication is “when the message is received as intended.”

When the message is received as intended, there is a process to ensuring the message was received as intended.  Asking a question or questions is one of the recommended ways and you can’t go wrong because there is only two ways to do so.  You can confirm the “Message has been received as intended” by first asking, Open ended questions and Closed ended questions; Open ended question have prefix of: What, When, Where, Why and How whereas Closed ended questions have prefix of the following: Should, Will and Did.  I have a leadership philosophy of a paradigm shift which moves us from the mindset of “Traditional” verses “Non-traditional” leadership.  And with this paradigm you do not have to wait until January 1st, to shift or change your way of thinking.
